Privacy Policy
Last updated . What morvexpod.com collects, what never leaves your own browser, and what you can ask us to do about it.
Paid advertorial · Morvexpod is an affiliate. Zeba Shoes products are sold and shipped by Zeba Shoes, and every purchase is completed on the official Zeba store.
morvexpod.com is operated by F.ect Production sro, Na Zlíchově 228/4, 152 00 Prague 5, Czech Republic, the data controller for the processing described here. This policy covers this website only — not zebashoes.com, the merchant whose products we present, and not any other site you reach from a link here.
The important thing is where this site ends. We are an affiliate storefront: you browse, build a cart, then leave for the merchant's store to buy. Anything you enter there — name, delivery address, contact details, payment information — is collected by the merchant and governed by the merchant's privacy policy, not this one. We never see it.
Stays on your device
Your cart and your cookie-banner choice, held in your own browser storage. Neither reaches us.
What we receive
Server logs, aggregate page statistics where analytics are accepted, referral totals, anything you email us.
What we never receive
Names, addresses, card details or order contents from a purchase. Those are the merchant's.
What you can ask for
Access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection and portability under the GDPR, plus US state rights below.
Information We Collect
We collect personal information only when you give it to us: your name, email address, subject and message when you write about a listing, a sizing question, a correction or a privacy request, and the correspondence that follows, kept so we can answer and keep a record.
We do not ask for, and this site cannot take, card details, bank information, government identifiers or account credentials. Please do not send them. If you mention a mobility issue while asking about sizing, we treat it as ordinary correspondence and never pass it on.
Like most sites, we and our providers automatically receive limited technical information when a page loads: IP address (often truncated or anonymized) and the region derived from it, browser and device category, pages viewed and time on page, the referring page where the browser supplies it, and server logs kept for security and diagnostics. This is used in aggregate; we do not try to identify individual visitors from it.
Your cart stays with you
The cart is a browsing convenience, not an order. Items, colorways, sizes and quantities go to your own browser's local storage. That record is never sent to us, never stored on our servers, never shared with the merchant, never used to profile you. Clearing your browser storage clears it, and we could not restore it, because we never had it.
How We Use Information
- To answer enquiries, corrections and privacy requests
- To operate, secure and troubleshoot the site
- To see in aggregate which parts of the catalogue readers use
- To measure affiliate performance in aggregate
- To meet legal and record-keeping obligations
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as California law uses those terms, and we do not use it for automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. Under the GDPR our legal bases are consent for non-essential cookies and analytics, legitimate interests in operating and securing the site and answering correspondence, and legal obligation where records are required of us.
Cookies and Your Choice
- Strictly necessary — the record of your banner choice and the local cart described above.
- Analytics — to count visits and see which catalogue pages are read. Set only if you accept non-essential cookies.
- Affiliate measurement — set by the merchant or its network when you follow a product link, so a referral can be credited.
The banner on your first visit lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies. Declining is a real choice: analytics stay off, and the catalogue and cart still work. Clearing this site's storage brings the banner back. Where we receive a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a valid opt-out request.
The Contact Form
The form on our contact page is validated in your browser as you type — checking that fields are filled in and that the email address looks like one — entirely on your device. It transmits nothing to us or to any form service; nothing you type into it leaves your browser. To reach us, use the email address and telephone number in the footer.
Affiliate Click Tracking
Product links here are affiliate links, as set out in our Advertising Disclaimer. When you follow one — from a product card, a listing or the checkout hand-off — a click identifier is appended to the destination address: a short random string generated as you click, with an advertiser code, so the merchant's network can credit the referral to this site.
That identifier contains no name, email address or cart contents, and we keep no table linking it to a visitor. The merchant and its network may set their own cookies once you arrive. What comes back to us is aggregate reporting: referrals, qualifying purchases, commission due. We never receive the identity or payment details of anyone who buys.
Third Parties
A few providers process limited information for us: hosting (pages and server logs), analytics (aggregate statistics, where accepted), email, affiliate networks (attributing referrals), and a web font service, which receives your IP address when serving the font file. They may use information only to provide their service to us. Once you follow a link to the merchant's store, that store's practices apply.
Retention
Correspondence is kept while the matter is open and a reasonable period afterwards — generally no more than 24 months — unless law requires longer. Server logs are kept for a short operational period. Aggregate analytics that cannot identify anyone may be kept indefinitely, and records of privacy requests as long as needed to show compliance.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, access to correspondence is limited to those who need it, and providers are chosen partly on their security practices. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee it. Please do not email us sensitive information.
Children
This site is intended for adults. It is not directed to children under 13, or under 16 where local law sets that threshold, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, tell us and we will delete it.
International Transfers
We are established in the Czech Republic and operate within the European Union. Our providers may process information in the EEA, the United Kingdom or the United States; where information leaves the EEA we rely on an adequacy decision or on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, with appropriate additional safeguards.
The merchant is based in the United States. If you buy from it, your order information is processed there under its own policy. That transfer is between you and the merchant; we are not a party to it.
Your Rights Under the GDPR
The operator is an EU company established in Czechia, so the General Data Protection Regulation applies to our processing. Where we hold personal information about you, you may ask for:
- Access — a copy of what we hold
- Rectification — correction of inaccurate or incomplete records
- Erasure — deletion, absent an overriding reason to keep it
- Restriction — a pause while a dispute is resolved
- Objection — to processing based on legitimate interests, analytics included
- Portability — your data in a machine-readable format
- Withdrawal of consent — at any time, without undoing earlier processing
You may also complain to a supervisory authority: ours is the Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů) in Prague, or the authority where you live or work.
Your US State Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident — and, as a matter of policy, a resident of any US state with comparable legislation — you have the right to know what categories of personal information we collected, from where, why, and with which categories of provider it was shared; to delete it, subject to statutory exceptions; and to correct anything inaccurate.
You may also opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do neither, as California law defines those terms, so there is nothing to opt out of, but you may still submit the request and we will confirm our position in writing. We will not deny you access to this site or treat you differently for exercising a privacy right.
How to Make a Request
Email leona.zajickova@fect.cz with the subject line “Privacy Request”, or write to F.ect Production sro, Na Zlíchově 228/4, 152 00 Prague 5, Czech Republic, or telephone 420 725 374 707.
Tell us which right you are exercising and enough for us to find the records — ordinarily the email address you wrote from. We answer GDPR requests within one month, extendable by two further months where a request is complex, and US state requests within 45 days, extendable once by 45 more. An authorized agent may act for you with written permission.
If your question concerns an order, delivery, exchange or refund, we cannot help: those records are the merchant's. Our shipping and refunds pages explain where to write.
Changes and Contact
We update this policy when our practices or providers change; updates appear here with a revised date, and significant changes are flagged prominently. Questions can go to leona.zajickova@fect.cz or our contact page. See also our Advertising Disclaimer and Terms and Conditions.
